1 out of 2 women confirms sexual harassment in Romanian universities - Filia Centre Report

The FILIA Centre organized today at the French Institute a conference on sexual harassment and gender discrimination in the university environment, during which a report on this topic was presented and followed by a debate. My fellow counsellors Andreea Leonte and Anca Chira also attended the event, given our interest in human rights and the status of women in Romania.

The Interparliamentary Alliance for China (IPAC) on new evidence of abuses committed by the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) - the Chinese Communist Party structure that is operationalizing genocide against the Uyghur population, calls for trade sanctions against XPCC and its corporate holding companies, as well as Magnitsky sanctions against XPCC and PRC officials responsible for abuses in the Uyghur region.
